Kathy,we just learned of Joe's passing and are saddened by the news. We have fond memories of you, Joe, and your children as dear friends and neighbors of ours, in Algiers, La. We remember you together as family at mass on Sundays at St. Andrews. Also remembered are the good times we shared together as neighbors and friends. Joe will be missed by all who knew him, especially you Kathy and the children. God bless Joe.

Though our heart our sadden at Joey passing, we know as Christian we should not consider death a tragedy. Rather we should see it as the angels do: they realize that joy should mark the journey from time to eternity. The way to life is by the valley of death, but the road is marked with victory for all who know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Joey knew Jesus as his Savior victory is his all the way.

Dear Kathy, JB, Katrina, Lauren, and Sal, and all of Joe's family, You know our family and the family of St. Oliver's have had all of you lifted in prayer over these past months, and we continue to do so. The Lord will wrap each of you in His loving comfort. God saw Joe was getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around him and whispered 'Come to Me.' Although we love him dearly, we could not make him stay. With tearful eyes, you watched him as he slowly passed away. A Golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us...He only takes the Best. All our love, Ann, Ray, Josh, Mike, Fred and family.

My condolences to the Testa Family. I got to work with Joe for a few years. He was always willing to share his abundent knowledge and mentor where he could. I will always remember Joe for how smart and giving he is. I am glad that I could learn from him and share a laugh with him.

We were priviledged to have met the Testa's while we were on assignment in Austin. Joe went out of his way to make my family comfortable and there was never a shortage of help while my wife went through a difficult pregnancy.
We are forever grateful to Joe and his family for all of their unselfish acts of kindness.
