Julianne Bittle Obituary

Julianne Sheffield Bittle Julianne Sheffield Bittle died December 12, 2005, at the age of 43. Julie graduated from Pearland High School in Pearland, Texas, and with honors from Texas A&M University. Julie dedicated her life to the education and betterment of children. She taught elementary school for 16 years and was a school counselor at Double File Elementary School in Round Rock, Texas, for the last four years. Julie had a special gift for helping children, and her dream was to have a private practice as a child therapist. Julie was joyful, loving, smart, fun, brave, curious, nonjudgmental and a seeker of the truth. She was a lovely young woman with a kind heart who always looked for the bright side, and had a great infectious laugh. She tried always to be authentically herself. Julie will be greatly missed and always remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Julie is survived by her husband David Bittle, son Matthew Reavis of Austin, Texas, father John Sheffield and step-mother Jane Sheffield of Austin, Texas, mother Shirley Goodman and step-father Charles Goodman of Junction, Texas, sisters Suzanne Haddock and husband Mark Haddock of Pearland, Texas, Amy Gipson and husband Chad Gipson of Junction, Texas, brother Adam Goodman and wife Diana Goodman of Houston, Texas, step-grandmother Katie Goodman of Junction, Texas, and numerous other family members. Julie was preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Lucille Sheffield and Monroe and Irna Dullnig. There will be a memorial service for Julie Sunday, December 18, at 3:00 p.m., in the Smith Wedding Chapel at the Riverbend Church compound at 4214 Capital of Texas Highway in Austin, Texas. Donations are being accepted for The Matthew Reavis Educational Fund, Account #200030, Junction National Bank, P.O. Box 65, Junction, Texas 76849.

Dear Bittle Family,



My son Matthew is a student at Double File Trail Elm. and he always would go say hi to Ms. Bittle when walking through the school she's a great person and will be missed at the school sorry to hear about your loss yall take care and your family is in our thoughts at this diffcult time.
