Pat, was a kind and caring woman. I worked with her at the TWDB for a few years. She was patient and the kindest person one could imagine.

In a crowded lecture hall at Texas State University, Pat stood out as a dynamic personality. Determined to team up with her on our epidemiology project, I introduced myself and over time realized that my first impressions were an underestimation. Our cohort accomplished much thanks to Pat's contributions. And I was honored to have her as a valued friend and colleague. Pat, we know your spirit and joy of life will continue to watch over us.
