Richard Holcomb Obituary

Richard Carl Holcomb Richard Carl Holcomb, 31, of Round Rock, otherwise known as "Bubba" by his family, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 7, 2012. He was born on June 22, 1980 in Austin. Richard had a heart of gold and a very loving nature. He graduated from Round Rock High School and played varsity football for the Round Rock Dragons. He held a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do and loved fishing. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Heather and his two beautiful children, Mason Lee and Katelynn Marie; his parents, Ronnie and Jeri Holcomb; and his brothers, Kevin and Jarrid Holcomb. He is also survived by numerous other family members and countless friends, who will all miss him deeply. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 15th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be on Monday, January 16th, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved grandfather, Gordon Holcomb, at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery.
