Just today I find out that two of my good friends from the past have left the world way too soon. Ronnie Powell, you will be missed. Your good freind Larry Eckert is on the way to help you with all those kids that are waiting for two of the greatest guys that I have ever known. I consider it an honor to have known you. Take care old friend and I will see you on the other side.

I can honestly say Ron taught me everything I wanted to know about Juvenile Probation. He was always just a phone call or a visit away. His kindness and help was always there for anyone that needed it. My heart goes out to his loved ones.

I couldn't believe it when I heard. Ron, you will be missed... Thank you for all the good times, all the discussions making sure TJPC was doing what was best for the field, and mainly just for being a REAL friend. I have told so many stories about stuff you've done, said, and dreamed about. Farewell and Godspeed.
