geez guess i waited too long to check up on Henry. damn, what a nice guy! he was my astrology tutor and gentle mentor, during the summer of 1984, in Salem. He use to deride his Taurus mars, saying it made him talk slow, and thus appear to be slow witted! ha! Henry got me into rolfing, and he sponsored and mentored a friend of mine, and let her set up a teepee on his land to do a 30-day fast. Henry was into methods for personal transformation, crediting the placement of pluto in his natal chart. He told my friend that she may experience anxiety over possible deprivation but that she would never go hungry. i think that was what was behind the fasting; to go toe-to-toe with hunger and to fully experience it and thusly not fear it. the last time i saw Henrt was in front of Salem's The Beanery. i was sitting outside and he was going in. we talked just briefly, and then he said, Good to see you.'. but then he corrected himself, and said, No, i didn't see you, take your sunglasses off.'. lol.
i appreciated Henry's gentle approach, never trying to force anything on you. not trying to sound grandiose, i think Humanity has lost something of unique value. i know he meant a lot to me and i thought about him often over the tears, as a mentor and a friend. Bless you.

Farewell my good friend. You taught me to think outside the box of perceived reality. You always knew the time to make your exit... See you on the far side of the moon...Later Henry.
Love Chuck
