James Stiltner Obituary

James Earl Stiltner TROUTMAN James Earl Stiltner, 66, of Troutman, passed away, Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born, March 17, 1946, in Pike County, Ky., to the late George W. and Easter Lester Stiltner. He was a retired coal miner, with over 25 years of service. He attended Mooresville Missionary Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, David Stiltner, Harold Stiltner, Eddie Joe Stiltner; and brother-in-law, James Smith. He is survived by his wife, Terry Stiltner; children, Barbara Jackson, Timothy Stiltner and wife, Sabrina, George Stiltner and wife, Sam, Kenneth Stiltner, Steven Stiltner and wife, Christine; sisters, Delores Lester and husband, Tolby, Arthena Smith, Mae Ellen Lester and husband, Doug; brothers, Charlie Mack Stiltner, Teddy Lee Stiltner, Ricky Stiltner and wife, Daisy; sister-in-law, Nadine Stiltner; 14 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 21 at Mooresville Missionary Methodist Church with the Rev. Randall Macon officiating; with Jimmy Rowe saying a graveside prayer. Entombment will follow the service at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, is serving the Stiltner family. Condolences may be made to the family at cavin-cook.com.
