Albert Higginbotham Obituary

Albert Lee "Buck" Higginbotham, age 82, of St. Augustine, passed away on Sept. 22, 2015, at his Hastings home. Buck was a native and lifelong resident of St. Johns County. He was a talented carpenter and worked in construction for many years, but his passion was his work as a commercial fisherman. Buck loved to be outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved to work with his hands, and enjoyed building miniature doll houses and boats which he often gave away to family and friends. He was full of life and loved to share a good story of his experiences in life. He will be remembered by many as a little man with a huge heart and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his son, Elijah Higginbotham (Diane) of Hastings; daughters, Cindy Snowberger (David) of Jacksonville, April Carney (Doug) of Vero Beach, and Kim Brownlow (Gary) of St. Augustine; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Eberhart officiating. A reception following the service will be held at Pentecostal Fellowship Center Church, 1065 Kings Estate Road, Hastings, FL. 32145.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
