Alexander Boudreau Obituary

Alexander "Al" O. Boudreau, age 85, passed away Nov.25, 2013, at Flagler Hospital. He was born and raised in Pawtucket, R.I. Alexander served in the Army and was a veteran in the Korean War. After his service, he returned to New England and earned a master's degree in electrical engineering. He worked for Raytheon and Foxboro in Massachusetts. He became active in the Mason Lodge in Massachusetts and was a Master Mason. He retired to St. Augustine about 20 years ago.

He was an avid coin and book collector and derived much pleasure in these hobbies.

Al was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie, and sister, Pearl as well as his first wife, Janet Marasco.

He is survived by his sister, Malvina Labeau, brothers Arthur (RoseMarie) Boudreau and Robert (Pat) Boudreau, former wife and friend Barbara Boudreau, son Stephen (Leiane) Boudreau, daughter Ruth (Michael Hardison) Holmstrom and son Mark (Melinda) Boudreau; grandchildren Michael (Shannon) Boudreau, Brian Boudreau, Kristin (Mark) Demers, Heidi (Peter) Mulholland, Heather Homstrom, Mark and Matthew Boudreau, and Ethan, Emily and Jacob Fulford. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Brooks and Claire Boudreau.

Family will receive friends at Craig Funeral Home from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday with a service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Veterans National Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Craig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
