Anna Harper Obituary
Anna Agatha Harper passed away on December 22, 2020. Born April 14, 1949 in Seneca, SC, she was a resident of St. Augustine since 2000 after having moved here from Charlotte, NC to be close to her family. Anna worked most of her life in medical billing with a few years managing Flamingo Fabric Outlet in St. Augustine. She had a dry, keen sense of humor and vocabulary that was second to none. Her favorite pastime was word games which she excelled at. She was passionate about animals and was so loved by her kitty, Marmalade. She is preceded in death by her mother, Agatha Nesmith Harper and father, Wilson Fitzgerald Harper. She is survived by her baby sister and best buddy, Patti Kessell, of St. Augustine; sister Kay Lindstrom (Clas) of St. Augustine; brother Norman Harper (Judy) of Duluth, GA; Leah Cozzo (Nick) of Marietta, GA and Brad Harper (Ashley) of Montgomery, TX. Anna was deeply loved and shared a special bond with her favorite nieces nephews - Shannon Wilson (John) of Radcliff, KY; Lee Kessell (Tommy) and Kayln Kessell (Jay) of St. Augustine; Great niece, Shanique Wilson of Las Vegas, NV; In addition to family, Anna will be dearly missed by friend and neighbor, Rick Burkett of St. Augustine. A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the St. Augustine Humane Society, 1665 Old Moultrie Road, St. Augustine, FL 32084 or http://staugustinehumanesociety.org/donate.html.
