Charles Ottley Obituary
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday Dec. 10, 2016, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home. A visitation, beginning at 1 p.m., will precede the service.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Christine Ottley, St. Augustine; two daughters, Tonja D. Ottley, New York, Simone C. Ottley, St. Augustine; sister, Frances M. Ottley-Brown, Brooklyn, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Calvin Charles Battle, St. Augustine, Tianna S. Ottley, Brooklyn; and sister-in-law, Glovine Gordon. He is also survived by niece, Kim Farquharson, great-niece Jasmine Kirby and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

My prayers goes out to you and your family Simone. I love you guys. You are my childhood friend and it seem just like yesterday we were playing in the back of the building without a care in the world. I can still see your father leaving or coming home from work wearing his blue mechanic work clothes. He always had a big smile on his face, always. I know it's hard and very overwhelming but know this, he is in a better place and now God watches over him as well as your family. He left this world knowing that his family is good and that he helped raised two beautiful, smart, and strong women. My prayers goes out to you all. Your friend Esther (Joy)
