David was a listener. He'd sit on our porch listening to the other guys talk but I noticed a humorous twinkle in his eyes that reminded me of Mark Twain. If you got him talking about trains and the railroad system, you'd learn a lot. Ditto for St. Augustine history. We'll miss him. Ed & Sue Olsen

Our Family Leader! David is in God’s hands now. He was a good Husband, Father, Grandfather, and of course Father in Law. David was a Role Model for me and I will miss him dearly. You will be forever loved Papa! Brian Thornburg
