I am very sorry for your loss.
Once in awhile I drive by the old neighborhood on Pizarro and can almost see it the way it was when I was a kid. ( Boy the trees really grew up)
Mr. Edmonds had that really nice wooden Chris Craft motor boat that he was going to restore one day in the garage.
The Edmonds yard was hide and seek central in those days and the only home that a had an ice cold water cooler on the porch!
I have lost touch with everyone I grew up with there in the 60's and was really saddened to hear that Jimmy had passed away.
He was always nice to me and I just wish I had run into him over the years to catch up on things.
Regards,
Jim Carroll

I was so sorry to hear that Jimmy had passed away recently. We went to school together beginning at South San Jose Elementary and although we lost touch at graduation, I still remember him as being quite the prankster (like the time he put his pet corn snake down my shirt in the fifth grade.) I hope that your memories of him will bring you comfort during this very difficult time. God Bless You.

Jimmy was one of my best friends when we were young. He lived down the street on Pizzarro Road. We grew up together and experienced so many things. I have so many good memories of Jimmy. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing here on earth but I know he is continuing on to a better place. God bless you and your family. I will always remember you.

When I first moved to Jacksonville from a very small country town, the first person to knock on my door was Jimmy. I was rather shocked, and pleasantly surprised. Jimmy showed me around the area and introduced me to friends I would be going to school with. Jimmy, myself and others would leave school and all meet at "Mr. Swiss"...what sweet memories~~~
Jimmy was always kind, sweet and the class clown in school!!!
You will be missed my friend. I pray for the family of Jimmy who have lost such an awesome person~~~his memory will always live on. With special regards, love and prayers.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

To the Edmonds Family:
Thinking of you and how special Jimmy was to all who knew him.

Imagine that!) in Miller Oaks at Sunset, walking the Buckman Bridge before it was open, Darla,Jimmy and me:) Best Friends.
I was so honered to visit and and see Jimmy again at the light parade in Dec @ Darlas.
Is there a limit to the # of characters in this email(?). If so, Jimmy's memories will surpass it.

To the Edmonds family:It is hard to find the right words to say at a time like this, I am deeply saddened by the loss of Jimmy. Affectionately known as Q-tip in high school and seen selling peanuts on San Jose Blvd most weekends back in the day, Jimmy was always a great guy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Dear Tammy and family,
You were so blessed to have Jimmy in your lives as a husband, father and friend. His wonderful personality, humor and unique way of looking at life were surely a joy to all and inspiration to those of us who knew and loved him.
I will miss him greatly but all the wonderful memories I have of him from school and after, always put a smile on my face. I believe we are all better off just by knowing him and having him in our lives.
Much love and prayers,
Darla

My thoughts are with you. I was one of Jimmy friends and classmates dating back to Dupont Jr High. Fond memories as I can still see his smile.
