Michael Bell Obituary
Michael Joseph Bell passed away peacefully due to complications with Parkinson's on Wednesday April 27, 2021. He was born on November 11, 1932 in Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland. Michael came to the United States at the age of 16 and became a U.S. citizen in 1956. He resided in Patterson, New Jersey and later moved to Florida where he spent the last 44 years of his life. He served in the United States Air Force in Illinois. He spent the majority of his career in the moving business. He worked as a manager for Bekin's Moving Company and regional vice president for Mayflower Moving Company. He was an active member in the Elk's Club since 1993, Lodge #2709. He enjoyed the game of golf and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching soccer and most of all his favorite MLB team the Philadelphia Phillies. He and his wife spent time together traveling the world and went to many different countries often times to attend golfing events like the President's Cup in Melbourne, Australia. Together they enjoyed a wonderful long relationship. He was a kind, caring person and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, James and Eileen Bell, brothers, Desmond Bell (Norma) and Jack Bell (Avril) and son, Brian. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Diane. His daughter and grandchildren from a prior marriage, Carolyn Bell Schwartz (Jack) and their children Alina and Jonathan. His brother Ronald Bell (Gloria). He was an uncle and friend to many. A memorial mass will be announced at a later date.
