Peggy Gustafson
PEGGY GLOVER GUSTAFSON, age 87, passed away on March 31, 2021 at Community Hospice - Bailey Family Center for Caring.
Peggy was born to Vernice and Ola (Arnold) Glover on July 19, 1933 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. It was in Ardmore, she would meet her husband of 65 years, Russell Gustafson, who proceeded her in death in 2020. Peggy and Russell relocated to Jacksonville, FL from Bozeman, MT in 1958. Peggy worked 15 years at The Bridge of Northeast Florida in Jacksonville, FL. Upon retirement, Peggy and Russell relocated to St. Augustine, FL in 2004. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include her two daughters, Gena Smith (Steve) and Gay Bailey of St. Augustine, FL. Her 5 grandchildren, Sheena, Mark, Brooks, Cassidy and Peyton; plus 3 great grandchildren, Hudson, Abel and Liam; as well as many nephews and nieces all of whom she loved and touched deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vernice and Ola Glover, her beloved husband of 65 years, Russell Gustafson; a sister Lavern G. Carlon and a brother William E. Glover.
Peggy's family entrusted the arrangements of Craig Funeral Home & Cremations. At a later date, Peggy & Russell's ashes will be placed side by side at Trinity Parish Memorial Garden, St. Augustine.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to Bailey Family Center for Caring, 200 Health Park Boulevard, St. Augustine, FL 32086.

Peggy was a sweet, helpful, sincere communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Jacksonville, Fl and one of the kindest, funniest, most sincere, caring person I have ever met! She and Russell are missed, and our sympathy to Gena and Gay, and their families! May God rest their souls!

I met Peggy a few times, her daughter, Gena, has shared many wonderful stories. She was a very sweet woman who was loved by her family. She will be sorely missed. I am sure her family is celebrating her long life with fond memories.
