I had a lot of great times with Ross, back in our high school days and I always enjoyed seeing him later in life. He was a very talented pianist, but more importantly, he was a heck of a nice guy. His passing has really affected me. He will be greatly missed, by both the music world and his many friends.
God bless, old friend.

Oh my goodness--what a loss! My family and I loved Ross, especially my Daddy, Sam Barrancotto. Many were the nights while I was a young girl that Ross and his buddy Russell George would 'jam' all night long at our home, after our restaurant (Barrancotto's Roma) closed. Nothing made my Dad more happy than to be with Ross, and to watch and to listen to him him make his magic on the piano. Another great memory: Ross took me as a special guest to the "Tonight Show" back in the summer of 1987 and I will never forget his kindness and how sweet and unassuming he was. That was just Ross! He never changed for he always had that trademark laugh and twinkle in his eye. God Bless You Ross, and keep the Heavens entertained forever. I am sure my Mom and Dad are right there with you. With love and very fond memories, Cynthia (Cindy) Barrancotto

I was saddened to learn of the passing of a fellow Ketterlinus High School classmate.
Ross was a pianist of great talent and his legacy will live.
My thoughts and prayers are with his children and family.
