Violet Louise Taylor, 74, surrounded by her husband Donald Taylor of 56 years and children, went home to her Lord on Nov. 21, 2010, at the Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Heritage Baptist church, with Pastor Gary Martin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bailey Family Center for Caring, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257, www.communityhospice.org.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Taylor; daughters, Cathy Norris, Candy Beckert and Cindy Lyberger; son, Jeff Taylor; sister, Deloris Snyder; brothers, James Kindel and Connell Kindel; 10 grandchildren, two of whom reside in St. Augustine, Holly Barker and William Beckert; 13 great-grandchildren, of whom two reside in St. Augustine, Chandler Barker and Gavin Perrini.
Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She devoted all her life to God, her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of arrangements.
