A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined and those wishing may make a contribution in his memory to Community Hospice of NE Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257 or to St. Augustine Humane Society, 1665 Old Moultrie Road, St. Augustine, FL 32086.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna Raynes; one daughter, Julia Mary Horton and her husband Rick, all of St. Augustine; three sisters, Joy Warren (Jerry), Cartersville, GA, Frances Garren (Carlisle), Lake Mary, FL, Gloria Gooding, Miami; and two grandchildren, Brittnee and Richard "Rick" William Horton.
Kotrady-Hudgins-Croyle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Ha So Joe where did he go. We will miss you Uncle Bill. Everyone here learned somethng new from you with your visits. Your memory will live on forever in our hearts. Keep an eye on Jim's building guide him in your special way. I can here jim saying now what would uncle bill do about this job! Love Ya and miss you like crazy

Bill will be missed by all. He always had time for everyone and would do anything for anyone. His music and singing will be missed by friends and family but will always be remembered. I will miss his big white smile and my wife always mentions his beautiful black hair. we will sure miss you William ( Bill ) W. Raynes.

To the best of Uncles. Bill was such a kind and gentle man who always thought of others. He surely will be missed. I only wish we would of had time to play guitars together the last time he visisted. God Bless you Uncle Bill.
