James L. Adamski

Plover - James L. Adamski, age 58, of Plover, WI, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at his residence.

Jim was born May 21, 1960 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Carl and Charlotte (Ashbeck) Adamski. He married Sandra Buttke on May 23, 1981 in Wisconsin Rapids. She preceded him in death on October 28, 2005.

He was employed as a Purchasing/Stores manager at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.

Jim regularly traveled to various popular locations in Mexico. He enjoyed deep sea fishing in Mexico and bass and pan fishing while staying with his family at his brother's cabin on Oneida Lake in Northern Wisconsin. He was an avid listener of WEPA radio out of Florida.

Jim is survived by two children: Chelsie Adamski and Aaron Adamski; grandson, Hunter Flatoff Adamski; his mother, Charlotte Adamski; his siblings: Paul (Patti) Adamski, Jane (Will) Olson, Mary (Greg) Adamski-Wills, Mark Adamski (Jennifer Ebsen), and Gary Adamski; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra and his father, Carl Adamski.

I've known Jim since grade school...and had the pleasure of standing up with him at Todd/Kay Ferkey's wedding. Though I haven't seen him in many, many years, it was a shock to hear he's no longer with us except in spirit.

My memories of him are that he was always happy and smiling!
