Eckert, you out of everyone knew how to make those around you smile so big and laugh uncontrollably. You understood what life was all about. As you never took anything too seriously and wanted what brought those around you happiness even if it was at your expense. You have never left mind mind after all these years that have passed. You thought me that its ok to be silly and playful. Because of you I smile every time there are Fresh Eggs around me. This is just one way you show yourself to me. You are missed and what I would do to be sitting in science class next to you right now. We had natural chemistry between us. Fly High

Man oh man, I feel so LUCKY that we talked a few weeks ago. This really makes you want to reconnect with all of the people you may have lost touch with. It's surreal, I was literally just talking about you a few days before I heard the news, talking about the time I was trying to sleep in class and you kept talking to me and I was getting so pissed off. :) You were definitely 1 in 1 million, Eckert! I'll miss ya brother.

Eckert~ I can't stop thinking about you. I am so saddened. I thought of you and prayed for you often. Sean and I would talk about all the times you made us laugh in high school. Wish you would've come to church with me all those times you wanted to so I could've had a few more memories. You were as unique as they come and you touched so many lives with the laughter you brought. You will be remembered as someone who was deep, REAL, ABSOLUTELY hilarious, and very loving. Eckert, you will be so greatly missed. I can only imagine the void those closest to you feel. You were such a bright life in so many people's lives. Eckert, you were my best friend and my big bother, you were always there for me when I needed you, and always knew how to make me laugh. I will never forget all the good times we had together growing up playing hockey, going to parties, or just hanging out at my house. I know you are in a better place now, and will be watching over me making sure I am safe. I don't know where I would be in my life today if I would have never met you.
