Been thinkin about you a lot lately and still cant believe youre gone. Just wishing my best friend was still down here with me kickin it, but youre in a better place now. I love you bubba, you are still and forever will be my best friend. You will always be on my mind, there isn't a second that past that I don't think of you. I miss you Dakota and I hope you are resting in peace. Please watch over me and get me through the rough days because I need you. Dakota you were my one and only best friend i miss you dearly. I miss seeing you in the halls and talking to you at 2 in the morning when I couldn't sleep. I miss the car rides to wherever the rode would take us. I miss your smile and your crazy singing. The double date on valentines day with nate and dzenita. The Walmart adventure with you and Nate. So many memories that i will never forget. Life is not the same anymore without you. It is hard to function but we are all sticking together. I love you to the moon and back best friend. Watch over us and let all the angles see that beautiful smile and amazing personality of yours. Terri i met you a couple times just know I love you and you are in my prayers. you are so strong and im sorry for your loss. I am still in disbelief about Dakota's death. My heart is aching. He was such a kindhearted and friendly young man. I looked forward to seeing him everyday at lunch. I am thankful that I got to watch him play basketball. He was awesome! Words cannot express the deepest sympathy I have for his mom. May God and your loved ones comfort you with this terrible loss. Rest in peace Dakota. You are truly missed by everyone you knew.

Today was a ver sad day. My best friend, more like a sister, laid her 17 year old son to rest at Jefferson Barracks. It is the beginning of a new way of life for her. She will be in my prayers daily.

Bubba...I am speechless...yes once in my life, I know. I spoke to you tonight and kissed your forehead...wishing you would cringe and go eeewww yuck Aunt Julie, like u used to. Turned and seen at least a hundred or more of your peers. I love you to the moon and back...know that my life is changed forever, as is many others. My condolences to his mother, family and friends. My son was very close to him. I remember him at the basketball games and school functions and he always had a huge smile on his face. Dakota was my son's first friend when he started attending Bayless in 7th Grade. Dakota was there for my son when he was going through hard times. It is devastating to my son to know he couldn't be there for him in his time of need. I just pray that he may rest in peace and watch over all his family and friends. Fly High Dakota.
