Flemington, Sister Helen, CSJ (S. James Barbara)
Passed away on December 27, 2022, at McGovern Commons at Nazareth Living Center. She was 79 years of age and a Sister of St. Joseph for 61 years. Born on September 30, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to Alexander Henry and Grace Ann (Conrad) Flemington. Dear sister, aunt, friend and Community Member. She ministered as an elementary education teacher and principle, pastoral associate, pastoral administrator, CSJ Province Leadership and mission advisor for CSJ Mission Advancement Office - K.C.
Services: Memorial Mass will be held at Nazareth Living Center Chapel on January 4 at 10:30 a.m. Live streamed at video.ibm.com/channel/csjsl-general. Memorials to Sisters of St. Joseph Carondelet, 6400 Minnesota Ave, St. Louis, MO 63111 or online gift to CSJSL.org. FEY SERVICE

Deepest sympathy to the Flemington siblings, especially Patricia, on the death of your sister. I met Patty (Pat in those days!) when we lived in the dorm at McCollum at KU. Our two sets of parents, Alex & Grace, Roy & Mary Ellen, knew each other from way back. It´s a small world when you make a friend a long way from home & then come to realize that your parents have known each other for years & are friends, too! All the best to you all.
