RIP Friend Jack was a very proud and honorable man. He never failed to ask about my family. This is so sad to say goodbye to such a fun loving good man.

Jack was a good man and a wonderful father-in-law. He had a great sense of humor, kind heart & love for his family & friends. I was always impressed he remembered to call me every year on my birthday. He was a generous Papa to our kids and never missed the chance to give them gifts for birthdays & Christmas. We will miss you Jack!

Jack was born in North St. Louis, the 5th child of Curtis & Virginia Smothers. Jack was a lifelong practitioner and believer in the value of hard work. He was a proud 2nd generation Glazier with LU 513 for 25 years. Jack's favorite work, however, was his private tree trimming and removal service. He once joked that his job was the one exception to the saying that "money doesn't grow on trees."
