Virginia L. Benz

Benz, Virginia L. (nee Baier), fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully Sat., Aug. 28, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Bernard F. Benz; dear mother of the Rev. James J. Benz, Dianne (Bill Mahoney) Benz, Elaine Benz, Jean (Matt) Sinovic, Paul Benz, Mary (Henry Vinny) Dempsey and Barbara (Jeff) Arndt; dearest grandmother of Jacob, David, Michael and Joshua; dear aunt, great-aunt, sister-in-law and friend to many. (Mom never met a stranger). A special thanks to Steve Rader, whose caring nature and love for Mom allowed her to spend her last days at home. Ginny was a charter member of St. Simon the Apostle Church, an avid bridge player and knitter. She loved Sunday evenings playing Scrabble with her family.
