Ireta Zehr Obituary
She was born May 11, 1942, in Sturgis, a daughter of John William and Hazel (Rosine) Schragg.
Ireta graduated from Centreville High School in 1960.
On April 1, 1961, she married Richard Zehr in Centreville. He preceded her in death April 25, 1999.
Ireta previously worked for Lear Plastics in Mendon. She cherished her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ireta was a member of Life Church in Centreville. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and listening to country, gospel and bluegrass music.
Ireta is survived by her son, Clint (Lori) Zehr of Colon; granddaughter Rhiannon Zehr of Colon; grandson Jeremiah "JT" (Kori) Zehr of Centreville; great-grandchildren Emma, Sophia, Huxley, Henry and Samson; brothers Frank (Lydia) Schragg of Centreville and Carlyle (Joey) Schragg of Coldwater; sisters-in-law Marilyn, Mary Ellen and Ardella; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and five brothers, Edmund, Robert, Victor, Jimmy, and John.
Relatives and friends will be received from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at Eley Funeral Home in Centreville. Religious services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, at Locust Grove Mennonite Church, with Pastor Clint Zehr officiating. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Life Church or Three Rivers Hospice.

Clint & family,
We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother. She was such a wonderful, loving, dedicated & outgoing lady. We always liked visiting with her when we lived across the street from her in Wasepi. Remember all the memories of her & keep them close to your hearts.
