Garland, TX

Elizabeth (Bettina) Tyler Guerry joined her parents in heaven on March 23 after a short illness at the age of 92. She was born in Vallejo, CA, in 1920. Elizabeth was the daughter of a Navy doctor and married a Navy Ensign, John Guerry, in 1941 in Annapolis, MD, so moving was a huge part of her life. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years: John Guerry; is lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law: Suzanne and Michael Pravitz of Rowlett, TX; and son: Stephen Guerry of Pascagoula, MS; grandchildren: Katie and Jason Pravitz, Austin and Chelsea Guerry; siblings: George and Pat Tyler, Lucy and Buddy Liebenow, Harriett T. McDonnell and Anne T. Settle; and other loving family members and friends. A memorial service under the direction of Rest Haven Funeral Home Rowlett was held 3:00pm, Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Garland, TX. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871.
