Etta Pauline Shaw

April 1, 1944 - January 26, 2016

Gautier

Etta Pauline Shaw, age 71, Gautier passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born April 1, 1944 in Hurley, MS and has been a long time resident of Gautier. Pauline graduated from USM with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Gautier.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jett Walley; mother, Mabel Hamilton Walley.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Talmadge Shaw, Gautier; two daughters, Daphne Shaw Watrous , Gautier; Kim Shaw Adcock, Waco, TX; two granddaughters, Heather Watrous Savage, Candice Watrous Creel (Randy), both of Gautier; six great-grandchildren, Joseph, Christian, and Elijah Savage; Madison, Preston, and Gavin Creel; brother, Toxey Walley; two sisters, Patricia Hough, and Marcina Doze; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and great friends.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, 2:00-3:00pm, at First Baptist Church in Gautier. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00pm with Rev. David Aultman officiating. Interment will follow the funeral at Pinecrest Cemetery located behind the church.

Mrs. Pauline Shaw was our best neighbor. She was always there if we needed someone. Pauline was a wonderful Christian who loved the Lord! What a great blessing to her Husband, Daughters, Grandchildren, Great-grand- children, Family & Friends. Rest in Peace in Heaven our Friend.
