Long Beach, Mississippi - Gerald Milton Prince, age 78 and a resident of Long Beach, died Friday, September 15, 2023 at his home in Long Beach.
Mr. Prince was a native of Duluth, Minnesota and was a lifelong resident of the Coast. He retired from the CB Base where he managed a warehouse for over 25 years and retired from. The love of his life, Cheryl Ann Ladner Gibson preceded him in death on January 5, 2005. He was passionate about keeping his yard up and would rake his 2 acre property and bag all the leaves. His Love was as passionate for his family.
Mr. Prince was preceded in death by the love of his life, Cheryl Ann Ladner Gibson.
He is survived by his daughters, Deedy Selecky (son-law, Mike) Waukesha, Wisconsin, and Elizabeth Ann Knowles of Gulfport; sons, Terry Gipson (daughter-in- law, Sarah) of Woolmarket and Roy Sidney Gibson (daughter-in-law, Olivia) of Ocean Springs; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was loved by his children and never adopted them, but we adopted him, and he was our dad.
We will remember him in our hearts forever. His desire was to have no service except family.

Sorry to hear the passing of Mr. Butch. I remember him coaching baseball with my father. He was a baseball guru and loved teaching and coaching kids on the fundamentals of the game. He will be missed.
