One year ago, dear Daryl, you completed your mission here on earth and, with sadness in our hearts, we sent you off to lay in the arms of our Lord. We know the pain will never go away in the hearts of your loved ones, but we pray that God will give us all a greater understanding of why He took you back at such a tender age. We think of you at this Thanksgiving time, more than ever, and we ask for blessings upon your mom and dad and all of us who love you so dearly.

Today on Thanksgiving, we are all thinking of our beloved Daryl and missing him, all of us with a pain that can never be fully expressed no matter how many words we use. And while we may find it hard to give thanks today with such a tragedy on our minds, let us remember that while we have lost Daryl, we still have each other. And that makes the loss of our wonderful little angel just a little bit easier to bear.
I hope that today we can all remember Daryl by showing each other the kind of love and affection that he showed so effortlessly while he was with us.
I love you all, and you are all in my thoughts and my heart today, and every day.

My dearest Daryl,
Yesterday was 1 year since I saw you last and felt your tightest hug ever, as 5 of us laid on the bed together at Deo and Sally's in Florida. How we giggled and laughed never knowing that it was the last. I miss you terribly; however no pain can be greater than your Mom's and Dad's.

Dear Gosein Family,
I had only known Daryl for a brief time but he touched my heart in so many ways. I want you to all know your angel has touched my life once again.
This past Easter while on vacation my husband had a seizure in the pool and had a near drowning. I had to jump in the pool and pull him out. Just in that brief second I heard someone say" you know CPR". I truely believe Daryl was there and is part of the reason my husband is alive today. I miss him greatly and think about him often.

Today, I saw pictures online of Anjalie and Aaron's wonderful wedding celebration over this past weekend. Quite prominent was little Dylan....and visions of Daryl were everywhere amongst the family and friends. Indeed, Daryl celebrated with everyone.

I did not have the priviledge to meet my little nephew!!!
But I can feel the love, joy and great spirit that he has shared & touched our family & friends with!

I still carry around your picture in a small frame in my purse everywhere i go to look over me and so i can see your beautiful sweet face anytime i need you. We visited your home & spent 10 days with your brother & the rest of the family.
Everytime I gave your brother a bath, I could see you in the bath tub with him. Your presence was very strong at your house. We miss you a lot and have wonderful memories of you and all the things we did with you. Your dad, Dylan,Ajaa & I went to the Princeton river on Friday and scattered white rose petals in the water, in your memory.

My Dearest Daryl, today was your special day with your twin brother, Dylan. Your brother had a 1/2 hour class birthday party this morning with cupcakes for his entire class, and then I watched your Mom celebrate your birthday with hundreds of birds at the water where your ashes were scattered. She was fair to you and spent 1/2 hour at your party feeding the birds 3 bags of your favorite snacks and beautifying the water with red rose petals. You are missed each day, and today has been the saddest day of all.

Dear Wendy, Kishore, Nicole, Christine and Dylan,
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there...to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become.
You never know who these people may be, but when you lock eyes with them, you know that every moment they will affect your life in some profound way. And sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but on reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles, you would have never realized your potential, strength, will power or heart.
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. Safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless -- the people you meet affect your life.
Daryl has affected all of our lives in many different ways…he cast his ‘Jadoo’ on us and then he left to go a Dios {with God(s)}…let us never forget how this soul brought us all together…he left Little Dillie for us to always remember him by….thank you Lord for letting Daryl spend that short interlude with us…we miss him sorely but we are happy that he now sits on Your lap.

I had the honor and the privilege to coordinate and speak at the funeral/celebration of life service for Daryl in Davie, Florida. Although Daryl's death was overwhelmingly tragic, the strength and the beliefs of Wendy and Kishore and the rest of the family were miraculous to witness and I felt truly blessed to have met all of you. We are very saddened to hear this tragic news about Daryl. My son Bradley, who is in Mrs. Walker's kindergarten class at Brunswick Acres, saw Daryl every day when he would come to Bradley's class. Last night, in remembrance of Daryl, Bradley drew a picture of him with a note saying "I love you."
