In addition to being a loving father and grandfather, David was also a devoted husband to Virginia Wells, to whom he was married for 31 years. He was a loving stepfather to Dawn Davies Tyrell and Dani Moschella, generous step-grandfather to Savannah, Athena, Gavin, Nicole and Jessica, and extraordinary friend to many, including myself. He opened his home to me when I was living in Boca. He and Ginny were like surrogate parents to me, and I will always be grateful to them for that. My husband will never forget the first time they met. It was at our wedding. David came up to him and declared that if he ever hurt me, David would be sure to seriously hurt him. I have no doubt he would have followed through with that if needed! My deepest condolences to all family and loved ones who are grieving his loss. We miss him dearly.
