This makes me sad. I actually met Steve when we both attended Camp Miller as kids - awe didn't know it then until as college roommates we shared a group photo from that time, and saw each other. We were college roommates at Shippensburg for most of the time that we were there, including when I was a senior,and he had graduated (went in the summers),and started teaching at Middlesex Elementary. When I graduated, he helped me get my teaching job there. After he left teaching, we stayed in touch, but sadly, over time, we had limited contact - mostly Christmas cards wit updates. I remember Steve as quite a character who loved life, and knew how to live it! I wish that we could have gotten together in our later years - we kept saying that we would, but we never did.

I was a neighbor of Stephen and Werner's on Christopher Street. Just today learned of his passing from our super. Always a pleasure to see him and chat about everything from hair to the weather. I am so saddened by the news.

Spent many days of my youth with Steve. Always had great times and also had the capability of getting into some trouble on N. Main Street. Remember having lunch at the Bangor House, playing around the quarries and just enjoying life. He will be missed by all that were influenced by his humor and caring character. Rest in peace my friend!

I knew Steve from Shippensburg. A really nice and funny guy. Before I moved to the Lehigh Valley, he was my stylist in Central PA. Rest in Peace, Steve.

Sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Although a Pen Argyl grad remember many fun times dancing with Steve at the Bee Hive, Stand and Lake. May your memories of him get you thru this sad time.

Steve was a great guy who always made me laugh. We had a great time performing in our Senior Play. The BHS Class of 1966 will be making a memorial contribution in his honor. So very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Stephen is already so missed by so many friends. My heart is broken. Since he left NY and moved to Florida, I looked to forward to our weekly phone calls. They always had me laughing. I will always cherish and remember that laughter. I love you and miss so much, Stephen.
