Came back to this again 2024. One of your middle school students, I am an adult now. The best teacher one could have ever had, we are all still so grateful to have experienced you! We will never forget you

Grieve Not because joy will come in the morning. I met Chan at the Peach County Law Enforcement Center in Fort Valley when he was doing his internship there. I was the Records Clerk and anytime I saw him leaving the building for a break or leaving for today, he would always stop by the office and say; see you tomorrow Mrs. Willis with that smile. A wonderful person he was. Rest in paradise my friend; I will see you in the morning.

Behold, I send an Angel before Thee, to keep Thee in the way, and to bring Thee into the Place which I have prepared for Thee.

An Affirmation of Those Who Have Lost. ( An excerpt).
I believe that there is no denying it
It hurts to lose a cherished relationship with another, or a significant part of one's own self.
Yet, I believe there is more to loss than just the hurt and the pain.
There are experiences that loss can call forth.
I believe that a time of loss can be a time of learning unlike any other.
In the act of losing, there is something to be found.
In the act of saying "goodbye" there is a "hello" to be heard.
I believe that grieving is a matter of Life more than of Death.
My Dear Friend, and fellow teacher, Richard, praying for your safe journey back home.
My most Sincere condolences to the family and friends for the loss of your beloved family member.

Always had a sweet song and a kind word, followed by his "witty" humor.. "Smoke Dog" definitely gone too soon. May you continue to R.I.P.
