Louis Renga Obituary

Louis George Renga Louis George Renga, 91, who retired as a data tech for Singer Sewing Co., died Thursday, March 2, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Margarita Renga. The service will be at 11 a.m. EST Tuesday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with burial at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EST Monday at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Timberlane Road Chapel (850-893-4177), with a rosary said at 8 p.m. Louis was born in Newark, N.J., and had lived in the Palm Harbor area for more than 30 years before moving to Tallahassee four years ago. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Other survivors include two daughters, Carole Herklotz (and husband Karl) of West Palm Beach and Denise DiGruccio (and husband Dennis) of Tallahassee; four grandchildren, Karl Louis Herklotz (and wife Mariela), Jason Tyler Herklotz, Lisa DiGruccio-Spillman (and husband Danny) and Renee McCord (and husband Caldwell); and seven great-grandchildren, Dominique Herklotz, Karl Zackkary Herklotz, Sheena Spillman, Stephen Markonios Spillman, Nicholas Markonios Spillman, Austin McCord and Harley Tucker McCord. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sister Mary Lucy, OSF.
