Ruby Lee Obituary

Ruby Alsobrook Lee Ruby Alsobrook Lee, 94, of Franklin, Ind., and formerly of Tallahassee, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005. The service will be at 10:30 a.m. EDT Saturday at Freedom Church First Assembly in Tallahassee, with burial at Hickory Level Cemetery in Marianna. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT Friday at Abbey-Riposta Funeral Home (850-562-1518). Survivors include four daughters, Margaret Brumley of Franklin, Christine Lee of Indianapolis, Erma Koziol of Mexico Beach and Annette Shields of Havana; a son, Fred Lee of Havana; 31 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Angus and Marvin Lee; two daughters, Chrystelle and Lunita Lee; a great-grandson, Trip Shupe; a brother, Barney Alsobrook; and three sisters, Lucretia "Crecie" and Lorraine Pumphrey and Laura Hamilton.

Aunt Ruby, was always special to me. I used to enjoy playing the piano for her when she was in Tallahassee in the retirement center. She was a special person.
