Charles FLEMING Obituary

FLEMING, Charles A. born in St. Petersburg on Sept. 4, 1931, passed away on Wednesday Aug. 13, 2014, at a local nursing home. Mr. Fleming was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lilla; brothers, Jack and Bill; and sister, Leona. He is survived by his sister, Mari Jean (Clarence) Faucett; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Fleming worked at St. Anthony's Hospital for 20 years and after retirement volunteered at Boyd Hill Nature Park, south of Lake Maggoire in St. Petersburg. He continued his love for plants for 9 years as a resident of Egret Cove Center with an outdoor planting area of which he was very proud. A graveside service will be at Memorial Park Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 12 pm. Gee & Sorensen Funeral Home, St. Petersburg 727-323-5111

My deepest sympathy on Charles' death. He was a good man.
I was at St.Anthony's when Charles worked there. He did what he was asked to do and always did it well. It was a pleasure to have him as an employee. I trust he is enjoying being at home with his God.
