Clariece MUNCH Obituary
97, who resided at Westminster Suncoast Retirement Community in St. Petersburg, passed away peacefully November 10, 2016. She had resided in St. Petersburg for 96 years and was a graduate of St. Petersburg High School. Clariece was a successful business woman, having owned and operated Munch's Sundries for 55 years until retiring at the age of 88. She also enjoyed traveling when time allowed. Clariece was preceded in death by her son, Garry. She is survived by her son, Larry (Laura) Munch; daughter-in-law, Linda Munch; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; and nieces and nephews. The visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 5-7 pm, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, where the funeral service will take place Wednesday, November 16, at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Empath/Suncoast Hospice.

So sorry for your lose. My Mom(Carolyn Payne Fulghum) knew her and I got to know her eating at Munch's for a lot of years.

It's been many year for me - Right at 52 years knowing the lovely Clarience Munch in person - She will be sadly missed by all that she has known through the years . Prayers and Blessings go out to Larry , Loved Ones , Family Members , Friends , Loved Ones , and the million plus customers that she knew . A legend in her time , and her time after as well . Nobody can ever forget the home of the free milk shake on your birthday special , and the three day breakfast special that still lives on today Monday - Wednesday - and Friday . So sadden by this...My family started going to Munch's day 1 and Mom and Clariece took several trips together. Clariece will be missed by many and my condolences pour out to Larry and family.
