My strongest and deepest condolences to you all! Diane was such a special woman and I truly enjoyed getting to know her over the past couple of years. I will never forget the first day I met her, when I crossed paths with Carsette as I was riding my bike in the neighborhood and I stopped and told her how much I loved the Kemker“s home and wanted to meet Diane to tell her. Then I met Diane and was welcomed into her home to have coffee with her and Carsette - what an unbelievable conversation we had that lasted for close to three hours. She reminded me so much of my 94-year old Grandmother (my Yaiyai in Greek) and when I told Diane this we laughed about how Greek was her favorite food to eat for lunch every Thursday! I visited with her as often as I could, though I wish I was able to visit with her more. She was such a pleasure to converse with and I loved hearing about her kids, grandkids and husband. We would talk about the news, daily life events and she even shared fond memories of her and the family. I was also so happy to have met Aimee when she was visiting her mother for her birthday. I will forever cherish our conversations and will miss her dearly!
