Helen BATEMAN Obituary

BATEMAN, Helen Elizabeth 91, passed away peacefully in Tampa, FL on February 16, 2021. Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband; Harrie L. Bateman. She was a loving mother and mother-in-law to Loraine and Jay Garcia. She is survived by her grandson, Michael Garcia, M.D., and his wife, Virginia; her granddaughter, JoAnna Garcia Swisher and her husband, Nick; and five great-grandchildren, Andrew Garcia, Gabrielle Garcia, Sebastian Garcia, Emerson Swisher and Sailor Swisher, all of Tampa. Helen was born on September 8, 1929 in Tampa, FL. She had a successful career as Head of Security at Honeywell. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed time in the mountains of North Carolina, and then returned to Tampa to be surrounded by her family and friends. Cremation with no memorial service and the ashes to be interned at Bushnell National Cemetery. Blount & Curry Carrollwood
