Kathy Stroupe Obituary

STROUPE, Kathy 56, of Tampa, passed away Jan. 28, 2012, at Moffitt Cancer Center. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dave; children, David (Stephanie) of Little Rock, Debbie of Tampa, and Nicky of Tampa; grandaughter, Ruby, of Littlerock; sisters, Barbara (Ed) Klein of Palm Harbor, Marilyn (Jess) Saldibar of Tampa; brother, Edward (Ingrid) Maneski of Staten Island; nieces and nephews, Carolyn Klein of New Jersey, Jeffrey Klein of San Diego, Laurie (Craig) Miele of New Jersey, Stacey (Eric) Hartley of New Jersey, and Timmy Saldibar of Tampa. Kathy is a cancer hero and shining star to family and many, many friends whom she has touched by living life to the fullest every day. Homemaker, cheermom, volunteer, labtech, library asst., caterer, church secretary, Busch Gardens salesperson, and tax preparer, Kathy spread optimism and excitement for life's adventures, taking every opportunity to weave a story her way. There will be a memorial service Wednesday, Feb. 1 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Tampa, at 4:30. Family will receive friends beginning at 3:30. Food will be served after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Please sign the online guestbook at www.blountcurrywest.com
