Not sure what to say?

Forever yours

January 9, 2007

I know it's been far too long since I last read through these messages and posted one myself, but I'm sure you know you're still in my heart and on my mind constantly. After all, I'm always talking to you when we're alone and telling you how much I love you and miss you. Anyway, here we are three years from the moment you left my side, and I am reliving it like it was yesterday. Guess I just wanted to have some way other than my thoughts, tears and prayers to tell you I still love you and that my heart still aches for you. Remember when I'd always tell you it was "forever and ever" ... hopefully you believe me now. I Love You, Poopsie !

It's been six long months, and this is the first time I've been able to bring myself to write anything here. But today, your birthday, it seemed like the right time, as you know I always wrote you a special note in your birthday card. My heart still breaks, and my tears still flow every day as I think of you and long to be with you again, my Poopsie. I love you and miss you deeply ... as you used to tell me all the time, "more than you'll ever know." Your Poopsette forever and ever ...

Leo was such an exuberant, positive person...truly a role model. And his sense of humor...what can we say! We remember him fondly and with love. Our thoughts are with you, Cathy and Mary Lynn.

Leo was a wonderful person, very loving and supportive of Cathy and Mary Lynn. He was also a great story teller, about fishing and about earlier days in Tampa. I'm glad I had a chance to know him.

I miss you, Pops. I can feel you smiling on me today, and I know that you are with me now, and forever. Every birthday, every holiday, and every ordinary day.

I love you so much.

Leo was a wonderful soul whom we loved and whom we will miss dearly. We enjoyed his stories about fishing and hearing him talk about his great love for his family. Of course, the Reed holiday parties were a legendary event, and Leo was a gracious co-host. He leaves behind a legacy in the hearts of many. We extend our thoughts & meditations to Cathy, Mary Lynn, Angie & family.

I didn't have the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Leo, but I enjoyed the time I did spend with him very much. I remember laughing a lot when he was around. And Mary Lynn shared a few stories about him. Leo was an integral part of a wonderful family and I know he will be missed more than I can imagine. My thoughts are with Cathy and Mary Lynn and the rest of the family.

I can't remember how far back I've known Leo, but our time in Salt Lake City in '96 stands out. I think Leo had the most fun...he was there as an "observer" , although I remember him contributing immensely to the project in so many ways. What a positive, upbeat influence he was!

In later years, I greatly respected his continuing positive attitude in spite of all the challenges thrown at him. He met 'em head on! I am so glad we all had the opportunity to visit with him at the most recent Christmas party, to again visit with a special man. To the end, he was admirably strong.

To Cathy and Mary Lynn, my thoughts are with you in remembering what a great guy he was and remains...in our hearts and memories.

I fondly remember being on two sales trips with Cathy and Leo (he was there for moral support)and got to learn a lot about him....First, dessert was the only thing he was interested in on the menu and he didnt much care for scary rat infested motels in the bad part of town. He was truly a character and am certain he brought a lot of joy and love to his friends and family. He will truly be missed by all but am certain he is not far away. Cathy and family..... my thoughts and support are with you all at this very difficult time.
