Lindsey REED Obituary

REED, Lindsey passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 30, 2021. Her life began on March 26, 1985, when David and Lisa Reed gave birth to a beautiful and bright-eyed, five pounds, six ounces baby girl. Shortly thereafter, she was joined by her sister, Krista, and her two brothers, Tommy and Sammy, who adored their big sister and are so incredibly heartbroken by her passing. Lindsey was only 4' 9" in stature but had a huge and magnetic personality and an even bigger heart. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Roger Cliburn and David Reed; her aunt, Patty Cliburn; and her uncle, Terry Cliburn. She is survived by grandmothers, Mina Cliburn and Barbara Reed; parents, Lisa and David; sister, Krista (Jake); brothers, Tommy (Jordan) and Sammy; as well as her loving partner, Emmanuel "Manny" Fernandez Jr., who brought so much joy and adventure into her life and with whom she looked forward to starting a family. Lindsey attended Nativity Catholic School from kindergarten through eighth grade. She attended Bloomingdale Senior High School and then Florida State University, graduating with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. After FSU, Lindsey went on to work for a variety of retailers such as Jimmy Choo in New York City and Burberry. She eventually returned to Brandon to be closer to friends and family and worked as a legal assistant in the Brandon and Tampa areas. Lindsey absolutely loved to travel- especially out West, to New England, and Savannah. She loved the beach and enjoyed live music, bowling, and treasure hunting at flea markets and antique stores across Florida. Lindsey was a sparkly, kind, and empathetic person with beautiful eyes and a gorgeous smile who was so accepting and cheerfully supportive of everyone she met. Above all, Lindsey loved spending time with her family and will be missed by everyone she touched in life. Her family cherished every second they had with her and will never stop missing her. If you'd like to come pay your respects and celebrate the life of our precious Lindsey, her viewing will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 6-8 pm at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park in Riverview, Florida. Her funeral will take place where she was baptized and attended school, at Nativity Catholic Church, on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 11 am, and her burial will follow at Serenity Meadows. Flowers may be sent to Serenity Meadows Memorial Park in Riverview.
