To all of Monte's family and friends.....He was a one of a kind guy I grew up with and I remember when I just saw him a a few years ago and he told me of his wife and daughter. He has a special place in so many hearts. I wish I would've known of his service. I would've been there. My parents Rev. Wendel and Ellie Lilly loved him and his entire family. They have both passed in the last year and I know they are welcoming him to an eternal home with them. Karen Lilly Craven and Kevin Lilly

RIP. We shared the passion for the sport and we shared the track. It's small community and for that we have an eternal connection. Your friends and family know the passions and bonds of that community and they will always be able to lean on it in body and spirit. God Speed.

I remember meeting Monte when he was 10 years old, I was 13, I remember he was too little for his dads 250 Yamaha endouro, it was gold in color, and his could not touch the ground, he hung off the side until he was ready to go and boy did he go! Even at 10, he rode far above his years. I will always remember the way he smiled and laughed and he loved to ride! I will truly miss him.
