Sylvia Bauer Obituary

BAUER, Sylvia J., 69, of Inverness, formerly of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at her home. Born in New Jersey, she came to this area nine years ago from Poolesville, Md. She was a homemaker, belonged to The Red Hat Society and was Protestant by faith. Survivors include her son, Benjamin of Cary, N.C.; daughters, Janice Bettinger of Dickerson, Md., and Karen Johnson of Inverness; brother, Fred Kircher of Hopatcong, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. Visitation for family members and friends will be 4-8 p.m. September 8, 2007, at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Sunday, September 9, 2007, with the Rev. Peter Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow at Brooksville Cemetery. Arrangements are by Merritt Funeral Home Spring Hill Chapel (352) 686-6649 Family Owned & Operated www.merrittfuneral.com
