Willis Ormiston Obituary

ORMISTON, Willis R., 68, of Zephyrhills, passed away September 24, 2009, in Zeph- yrhills. He was born January 4, 1941, in Grand Forks, N.D., to William and Margaret (Lein) Ormiston. Mr. Willis was a very talented concrete finisher who took great pride in his work. He is survived by his wife, Norma Ormiston of Zephyrhills; four step- children, Lory Jones of Zephyrhills, Louie Schreuder of Howard City, Mich., Dixie Gannon of Wolverine Lake, Mich. and Dewey Schreuder of Wayland, Mich.; several stepgrandchildren; and stepgreat-grandchildren; dear brother, Dwight (Jane) Ormiston of Minot, N.D.; and one sister, Cindy also of North Dakota. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gulfside Regional Hospice, 14235 Edwinola Way, Dade City, FL 33523. Their comfort and care was greatly appreciated by our family. Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2009, at the Zephyrhills Veterans of Foreign War Post 8154.

Norma, I want you to know that I loved my brother very much and that I am glad that he found you because you made the last 10 years of his life as happy as they could ever be. I wish we could have kept in touch but that wasn't to be.
I will always have my memories of him as we where growing up and mom would say "You are just like your brother, PeeWee!"

We are so sorry for your loss. You were a good care-taker and Wil was blessed to have you in his life. Praying for the void in your heart to be filled with the love of your Savior and that He will guide you through the days and weeks of adjustment in the future. We love you very much and wish we could be there.
