Kevin J. Stringer

1958 - 2017

Kevin Joseph Stringer, 58, of Portland, Oregon passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017, after a short illness. Kevin was born in Fall River, MA, on September 20, 1958, to Helen J. and Harry G. Stringer. He grew up in Taunton, MA, and was a 1976 graduate of Coyle-Cassidy High School. He was employed by Texas Instruments in Attleboro, MA, for 15 years before relocating to Portland, OR, where he was an employee of Cameron Great Lakes. Kevin was known as a kind person who loved his family, friends and music. He was fun to be with and will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his father, Harry G. Stringer and a niece. He is survived by his mother, Helen Stringer of Middletown, RI, his sister, Carol Zebrowski and her husband, Daniel, of Leander, TX, his brother, Gilbert Stringer and his wife, Lynn, of Middletown, RI, his sister, Paula Levasseur of Portland, OR, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. There will be a simple memorial service for Kevin on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway Newport, RI.
