Craig Fross Obituary

Craig Fross, 86, died Nov. 12, 2009, in Fort Pierce. He was born in Arkansas City, Kan., and lived in Fort Pierce since 1976, coming from Kansas City, Mo. He was a sales and marketing specialist and business administrator and executive. He was principal owner and president of Clearline Plastics of Alabama and later came to World of Plastics of Fort Pierce as director of marketing. He was employed by Indian River State College in Fort Pierce for four years as coordinator of the work services for the vocational rehabilitation department. He worked four years as a financial consultant for Merrill Lynch, retiring in 1988. He served in the Marines. He was first president of the Treasure Coast Boxing Club and the Treasure Coast Running Club. He was a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge 76 in Independence, Mo, and past president of the men of the church of Indian River Presbyterian Church of Fort Pierce. He was president of the Village Green Merchants Association and was first president of the Villas of Gator Trace Homeowners Association. He was on the city of Fort Pierce Board of Adjustment and worked as a volunteer reading to the blind for WQCS Radio Reading service. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Olive Fross; daughter, Anne Walker; and two grandchildren. Services: Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 16 at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11 a.m. with military honors. Entombment will be private at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. A guest book may be signed at haisleyfuneralhome.com.
