David Vandermark Obituary

DAVID WAYNE VANDERMARK David Wayne Vandermark, 66, of Stuart, Florida passed away June 4, 2010, at Treasure Coast Hospice, Hay-Madeira Hospice House, Stuart surrounded by his loving family, after a two year battle with cancer. He was born September 15, 1943 in Oceanside, California to Earl and Juanita Vandermark. On December 22, 1962 he married Judith Caviness in North Chicago, Illinois. A U.S. Marine Veteran, he served his country during the Vietnam War, and was honorably discharged after five years of service. He was a resident of Stuart, Florida since 1996, after retiring from a family owned and operated business in Waukegan, Illinois. He was a member of the Church of God in Palm City, Florida. A man of God, his passion was the healing ministry and witnessing to others. He enjoyed mealtime fellowship with his family and quiet devotional time in prayer. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Judith Vandermark, his two loving daughters, Dawn (John) Ortega of Georgetown, Texas, Dianna (Robert) Goss of Crystal Lake, Illinois, and his two grand- children, Robert and Kaleigh Goss. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Donna Hall of Las Vegas, Nevada. Visitation and Memorial will be limited to immediate family members only. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian St. Stuart, FL 34997, or on line at www.TCHospice.org.
