James Wheeler Obituary

JAMES L. WHEELER James L. Wheeler, 74, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at the Select Specialty South Hospital in Edgewood, FL. Mr. Wheeler was born January 20, 1935 in Joliet, IL and has been a resident of Vero Beach since 1996, coming here from Winfield, IL. He had been president of Technical Resources, Inc. in Illinois and was a member of Holy Cross Church in Vero Beach. Mr. Wheeler was a member of the National Association of Personnel Consultants and the Vero Beach Country Club. He was a veteran of Korean War, serving in the US Marine Corps. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Ann Wheeler of Vero Beach; son and daughter-in- law Michael and Diane Wheeler and their children Sam and Jessica of Winfield, IL; son and daughter-in- law Robert and Christine Wheeler and their children Taylor, Casey and Jacob of Butterfield, IL; and a sister. Services: The family will receive friends 6-8 PM, Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Cox- Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Monday, March 23, 2009 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Interment will be in Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 2655 5th Street SW, Vero Beach, Florida 32962 or a charity of ones choice. Arrangement s are under the direction of Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach, Florida. Condolences may be sent through www.seawin dsfh.com/obi t.php
