John Burns Obituary

John J. Burns, 55, of West Palm Beach, died Wednesday, July 21. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., he lived in Poland, Ohio, before moving to Florida. He was a quality control inspector for Pratt-Whitney in Jupiter for many years. He loved to travel with his family and through his job he was able travel the globe. He also loved to play golf and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Survivors include his wife, Debrah; daughter Rebecca Perkins, and her husband, Norman III, of Fort Greely, Alaska; son Jason Burns of West Palm Beach; grandchildren Cassie and Norman Perkins IV; mother Dorothy Kalinowski, and her husband George, of Poland, Ohio; brother Michael Burns and his wife Theresa, of Poland, Ohio; sister Kitty Hacon, and her husband Terry, of Youngstown, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Thomas Burns and his brother Frederick Burns. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 31, with a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 1 at Aycock Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta.
