Wendell Timmons Obituary

WENDELL S. TIMMONS Wendell S. Timmons, 69, of Stuart FL. passed away suddenly Nov. 15 at J.F.K. Medical Center, in Atlantis, FL. He was born in Cordele, GA. on Aug. 5,1938 to Joseph & Ruth Timmons. He was a Supervisor with Sikorsky Aircraft in West Palm Beach for over 20 years, prior to retiring. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, Past Exalted Ruler (PER) of Stuart/Jensen Beach B.P.O.E. Lodge 1870. Wendell enjoyed traveling for the past 10 years throughout the county in his R.V. He celebrated his 50th Wedding Anniversary with his family on a Cruise through the Eastern Carribean. Wendell was a loving family man & was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Coleen M. Timmons, of Stuart. His 2 loving daughters, Carolyn (Gregg) Timmons-Mills, of Hollywood, FL. Cathy (Mike) Morell, of Edgewater, FL. His 3 brothers, & his 4 cherished grandchildren, Ashley, Christie, Deanna & Stephanie. Friends & Relatives may visit on Tuesday, Nov. 20th from 3-6PM in the Chapel of Martin Funeral Home, with a Celebration Tribute to begin at 6 PM with the B.P.O.E Lodge 1870 & Deacon Robbie Browning officiating. online guest registry can be signed at www.hevencalled.com Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home & Crematory 961 S.
